Immune Formula vs. Family Daily Defense

We often get asked by my patients and customers about the difference between and proper use of Dr. Rydland’s Immune Formula and Family Daily Defense. The Immune Formula was one of the original formulas designed by Dr. Rydland in the early days of our company in 2000 when he introduced the formulas to the patients in his practice. Since it is used for illnesses and cannot be taken on a daily basis, we received requests to come up with something for daily use, especially for traveling and children in school that are constantly exposed to others that are sick. This was the origin of the idea for Family Daily Defense. They are best used as follows:

Dr. Rydland’s Immune Formula*:

• Used at the onset of an illness every 2 hours when one is awake for three days to help the body deal with illness and decrease the chance of it progressing, then 4 times daily for another 7-10 days
• Cannot be used for more than three weeks per month or 5 days per week
• Designed to combat illness and not prevent it

Dr. Rydland’s Family Daily Defense*:

• May be used as a support for the immune system two to three times daily on a regular basis to minimize or prevent illness
• May be used daily for as long as desired
• Designed to prevent, not treat disease, but may be used if necessary, as with the Immune Formula above, at the onset of illness if necessary
